In early 2004, the Hobby Industry Association (HIA) and the Association of Crafts & Creative Industries (ACCI), joined together to form the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA). Together as CHA, the new Association forms a single more dynamic and powerful force to drive the craft industry into the future. CHA's vision, simply stated, is to create a vibrant industry with an exciting image, an expanding customer base and successful members. The goal is to stimulate the sales growth of the craft and hobby industry worldwide by creating consumer demand, helping members succeed and leading the industry.

The LCCA was founded by James D. Gates on August 1, 1970. It was his idea that collectors and operators of Lionel trains had long needed an organization dedicated solely to their hobby interest. By July 1, 1971, eighty-three Charter Members had signed on to give birth to his new club exclusively for the Lionel hobbyist. Since then our membership has continued to increase to where today there over ten thousand members of the LCCA worldwide. For more information contact us at:

The NASG is the umbrella organization representing the S gauge community. It sets the standards for S gauge and maintains lines of communication between S Gaugers everywhere. Through its bimonthly glossy magazine, the "Dispatch," the organization communicates news about local clubs, new products, events, and projects of interest to S Gaugers. The TAMR is a non-profit, 501c7 organization run by teens for teens. We have members throughout North America and China and are actively working to promote the great hobbies of model railroading and rail fanning among the youth of the world. The TAMR is a special interest group of the National Model Railroad Association and exclusive National Co-Sponsor of the Great American Train Show. Youth in Model Railroading is an organization dedicated to teaching youths the excitement and joys of model railroading. Through hand on clinics members can learn everything from model trees to carving form mountains to building and weathering freight cars to advance skills like DCC operation to scratch building.
