Glasmuseet Ebeltoft houses a large collection of contemporary glass from all over the world. Additionally, the museum stages 6-9 solo/group exhibitions each year, presenting the latest tendencies in glass. The museum shop contains a wide selection of glass items designed by Danish craftsmen, and the gallery has an exclusive selection of Danish and international glass sculptures for sale. Finish Museum of Glass
The Finnish Glass Museum is a specialist museum focusing on glass design and the history of glass. The museum has operated since 1981 in a renovated glassworks in Riihimäki. The renovation was designed by Tapio Wirkkala. The Finnish Glass Museum presents the history of glass dating back over 4,000 years and the 300-year history of Finland's glass industry. The Eretz Israel Museum
The Eretz Israel Glass Pavilion takes visitors on a unique journey through time, traveling back thousands of years to the earliest days of glassmaking in this region. Donated from the rich private collection of Dr. Walter Moses, who founded the Eretz Israel Museum in 1958, this rare and beautiful assemblage of glass has been enhanced over the years by exciting new acquisitions and significant donations. Swiss Stained-Glass Window Museum, Romont, Switzerland
Romont is a medieval town with a castle accommodating a museum unique in Switzerland: The Museum of Glass Painting. The fine, varied collection leads the viewer through the art of a millennium in which color, form and light are harmoniously blended. There are some particularly fine works from the art nouveau period, including the enchanting St. Cecilia (around 1900), which probably originated from the studio of Louis Tiffany. The original Savoyard castle also houses a research and information centre for glass painting. Opening hours: April - October: Tuesday to Sunday 10 to 12 am and 2 to 6 pm. Ely Stained Glass Museum
Ely Cathedral, Ely, England. The Museum is in the South Transept of Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, a small city fifteen miles north of Cambridge making it an ideal centre to visit. The Museum's exhibits include an early 19th century stained-glass copy of a work by Raphael and an 18th century panel copied from a portrait by the artist Sir Joshua Reynolds. Children's Museum of Indianapolis
