The International Centre for Stained Glass Art / Le Centre international du Vitrail
The International Stained-Glass Centre, collaborates with the relevant scientific, cultural and professional organizations in order to promote the study and conservation of stained glass and the knowledge about, and contributes to encourage its contemporary forms of expression. Through workshops, classes, courses, exhibitions of ancient and modern stained glass and guided visits, an information letter and magazine, the Centre is fulfilling its mission of diffusing information about stained-glass art. International Society of Glass Beadmakers
SGB's founders united to establish an organization dedicated to promoting the growth and recognition of glass beadmaking by facilitating communication and mentoring among members and educating the public about the process of beadmaking and the artistic value of glass beads. Today, members share techniques in an effort to promote their own work as well as the contemporary glass bead movement itself. Glass beadmaking classes are taught worldwide, how-to videos are available to the general public, and Society members gather annually to explore techniques, tools, design, and business issues.
